Templar is looking for Support

Hello again everyone. Its a pleasure to see all the familiar faces that managed to survive the war. Around the end, things really didn't look good, but we're here and that is all that matters.

But the reason I'm posting is, well after the war, Muck and I decided to do our part in helping reconstruction by starting up a support group. Originally, we would just deliver supplies to people who needed them for the Alliance, but as we grew, we expanded our operation a bit, and along with aid for clean ups and restoring architecture, we're partnering the G. Red Cross set up and resupply medical aid.

Right now we're situated in the Local Cluster, but now that the relays and com buoys are back up, our little operation might grow and and help further restore the rest of the galaxy.

To that end, we're looking for more members, either volunteers or full time members, to join our cause. We're open to everyone, and we'll be sure to find a place for you where your talents can be put to good use. Failing that, we're always looking for donations, either in currency, or much needed supplies.

If we help out, do we get to pick our days, or are they set?
Because I wouldn't mind helping out one or two weeks at a time, but I don't want to leave my auntie's bond mate for to long by herself with the baby.
So do we get a choice? If other wise I would love to donate.

It has to do with old history and myths about the original templars. Part of the price to pay by naming ourselves after a group of guys with pageboy haircuts, but snickering aside, we do good work. Don't worry about it Tay.

Volunteers submit in the requested times, and we'll find you something to do, no question about it. Just make sure you can get yourself where we need you to be, as we don't waste money ferrying people if we don't have to. Work with us fulltime though, we might keep you in a single place for months. We expect dedication, and make use of it.

Templar? Seriously? That is the most ridiculous fucking name for a goddamned organization I've ever heard. I mean, even the historical implications aside (yes, I can use galactipedia), you're basically putting up a big goddamned flag that says "HEY LOOK AT US, WE'RE SPOOKY AND MYSTERIOUS OOGA BOOGA."

Okay that sounds good, I have enough money saved up for rides, to most places that don't cost millions to go to.

... do you need a power-loader frame? I've got one, slightly used... well, very used, but it still works fine. Shipping is going to be a bit of a pain though, considering I'm not exactly close to Citadel space at the moment.

The best I can manage is a small financial donation, there's several other aid organizations I've also been donating to.

Still, I hope this helps. Name's...kind of grandoise for my tastes, but I can tell your intentions are genuine.

You know, if you're going to name your charitable organization after ancient knightly orders, you might want to consider "Hospitaller" instead. Gives off less of a "we want to take over the galaxy" sort of vibe.

Templar invokes the most attention and responses, and that's what we want. Everything else, we let people base their perceptions on our record and goals.
