Aroch College to host Non-Council Integration Conference

Yaetan Harwun, President of Aroch College, announced today that the university will be hosting its first annual Non-Council Integration Conference next month, as batarian, krogan, quarian and geth representatives convene to discuss matters related to interspecies re-integration into the galactic community.

“With pride: On behalf of the university, I am honored to have the opportunity to arrange this conference on behalf of its participants.” Harwun stated in the university's official press release.

Among those who will participate in the conference’s keynote presentations are Dr. Thertur Churk of the University of Etheai, Vhana Sau’tek of the Batarian Interspecies Relations Council, and Zhel’Irin vas Ethon and a geth prime delegate on behalf of the Rannoch Diplomatic Action Committee.

“I am very grateful to Mr. Harwun and Aroch College for agreeing to host this conference.” Churk stated. “The end of the Reaper War has allowed us a chance to partake as equals instead of outcasts in the galaxy, and while it may be awhile before we can aside all of our past grudges, we can at least make the effort to try here.”

why no vorcha?

It is my impression that the vorcha lack any kind of unified or recognized political body to represent them on the galactic stage. Furthermore, the population of vorcha is so widely dispersed that there is, in fact, no sovereign vorcha territory (with the possible exception of Heshtok but, even then, your kind lack the means of adequately defending it from foreign agencies).

This one is most gratified to learn of this development! That the peoples of the galaxy recognise that it is through integrated discussion that these ones collectively reaffirm themselves as truly Enkindled beings is extremely reassuring to this one. It hopes that the myriad enhancements to established interspecies discourse that result from such dedicated immersion brings forth a swell of new insights for all!

This one wonders if it will be able to attend; it cannot imagine that the community aboard ship would not seek to join such a debate!

This is most ... exciting news. The re-integration of these ... species into the galactic community under council ... influence will surely lead to less ... conflict in the years to ... come.

I wish I could attend so bad but the CO won't let me on leave for this conference. Muttered something about me sneaking to the bar again.

This is amazing! I really wish I could attend such an event. Maybe someday.

Ah, one of my friends is going to this conference! I have high hopes for it - communication brings understanding and respect, both of which are necessary for the integration of these species. In particular, I'm hopeful for the batarians. As of late, I've been reading about their time on the Citadel. Their return would greatly add to the area!

I'd love to see the return of the batarians, quarians and krogan to the Citadel. Galactic society always felt a little disjointed before the war with the 'non-citadel species'. Hopefully this leads to rectifying that.

I'm kind of surprised batarians are on this list, honestly. Even before humans arrived they were, at the best of times, a fickle and hostile ally. I guess time will tell whether that's changed at all.

Sadly, have neither the time, money, or qualifications to get in.

I have to say, that the Geth-Batarian pannel on integrating former slaves into the larger community looks super-interesting, so hooray for remote feeds?
