Should I bring the APU back for another season?

I've been thinking about doing another season of biotic ballgames.

Since the maintenance and writing of a league is a time consuming effort and means a lot of work, I'd like to test the waters here and ask you if I should bring it back.

As some of you know, I dice out all the results and try to keep up with rooting for certain teams, bolstering their bonuses.

If I do bring it back, there would be a few differences.

- Divisions, playoffs and finals this time!
- New teams. Depending on what division setup I choose, I could use two new teams!

One new team would be Citadel based and most likely contain another human player, the other one is preferably of made up origin.
I am asking for names! Post me your ideas and suggestions:)

I wouldn't mind seeing more of it Tal. It adds a nice bit of world-building to the forum (and I promise to comment on it more this time >.>)

And if you need help with anything I'd be glad to loan out my services too :)

Well Tal, if you want my opinion, the APU posts were very fun to read and follow! But like you said it can be quite tiresome so It's all up to you :). But the plans you have in mind for the next season do seem intriguing!

Now as far as names go... I suppose I could come up with a few.

How does Paralos Skywalkers and Uresium Apostles sound? :)

I very much liked the idea behind them, Taleeze. It adds to the sense that this is a genuine online community in a fleshed-out universe. Given how some of my family members obsess over teams, scores and charts, it's no surprise to me that some of our characters are equally invested in these things. It makes it all more real.

As the others have said, if you think the demands on your time are too great you shouldn't push yourself, but I think another season would certainly be a good thing. I'm sure a lot of our members appreciate anything that makes the board a more complicated and involving place, and APU definitely counts.

You know I'm for it! I appreciate the work, and it adds some nice depth.

Maybe bring it back but once every two weeks? It would make the work load more manageable.

Just to make that more clear: It is not about being too much of a workload or about the sequence, it is about if it's even wanted or interesting to a few people. It's only getting too much if nobody cares about it.

Also: Citadel team name anyone?

Citadel Serpents? Admittedly a bit out of date given the relocation, but maybe it's something that was beginning to be organised a while ago under the name, or it's a nod to history, or they already had a bunch of letterheads printed... Or maybe they could be more tongue in cheek, and go with the Citadel Councilors?

And count another 'yes' vote, obviously. :)

The Citadel Keepers, they'll come on your ground when you least expect it, take the ball from you like they own it, and never let go.

I'm sorry but I'm just not feeling the councilor, trash talk wise.

I wouldn't mind it either. This kind of sports stuff interests me.
