Raelon needs a portrait

Hey there,

I was wondering if anyone with Photoshop/art program skills better than mine would be able to help me out with a portrait of Raelon to be used in an upcoming thread. To avoid being a huge pain in the butt I was thinking we could work with a Marauder as a base model and just give him one natural eye and some red Sundowner tattoos...and use a hood to hide any overly maurader-y bits if needed, given as the character wears a robe anyway.

If you'd be willing and able to give me a hand with this, I'd really appreciate it. I don't have the skills to do image manipulations myself.

Taleeze, I've been having a lot of trouble accessing the other site. I did get a look at your picture briefly today before it went down on me again, and it looks like a great start. The monocle stands out a bit too much but if the hood partly covers it that would be great.

Is there anything you need from me for the "Second draft" of the image?

So, is your trouble with photobucket or with the old site's PM? I could try and find another picture host, but I'd rather not post the WIP here since then it's no surprise anymore.

Okay, I just need to know if the right half of the face and the facial markings are okay? I'll then try and cover up the face and the eye more. I laways thought, that eye gives him the distinct "cyborg" look though, a bit like the Terminator's red eye.

My problem's with the old site. It keeps cutting out on me. I use photobucket often for my stuff.

I like the eye, it just seems like there's too much contrast between the eye and the skin. So if the fold of the hood falls between the cyborg eye and the skin, it'll hide that, and look likea mechanical eye is looking out from under the cape.

I'm going to have to draw his facial markings and send them to you....would that work? Can you use paint to add them to the face? I can borrow the scanner at work next week.

I did the facepaint on a separate layer in paintshop for easy edit so if you give me a decent scan from a drawing of your idea of the outline from the same frontal angle it should be easy.

Sorry for the delay, the emergency as outlined in the absence thread has scuttled my original plan to draw today. HOpe to get to it soon and sorry for the pause.
