Get used to doing something quickly, and your muscles will remember how when you need to, even if your brain isn't up to speed. It's why soldiers drill so much and it's the same principle behind most martial arts.

Speaking of which, it's hard to suggest something without knowing what you plan on doing with it. There's a lot of emphasis on ancient cultural stuff, but keep in mind a lot of them come from before alien contact and newer styles will usually be more practical outside of batarian space. You'll still want to learn from a batarian, probably, since they'll have the best sense of what your capabilities are. Are you actually on Omega? There should be something local. Otherwise maybe head to Lorek and take one of the Chains' courses - yeah yeah, former slavers, whatever, but the Lorek bunch makes a living now training and bodyguarding more than anything, and Goronak's the one who trained me so you'd be in good hands.

Working for a mostly-legitimate PMC with a history of success and ties to a recognized government is a pretty good setup. They'd train you, equip you, and if you've got other skills, they'd put those to use as well. Give it some thought.

To make a long explanation into a short one, I 'acquired' a medi-gel dispenser (empty, some sort of congealed liquid at the bottom), a dodgy shield restore (that might actually be something else entirely) and a thermal clip cooler that looks suspiciously like a portable cryo-unit.

I'd sell this crap to you for like 10% of the market price, that's a seriously huge bargain there, I can almost see my volus bank manager creaming his suit at the thought. You interested? In the discount stuff, that is, not the volus. But if it was the volus I can pass you his comm code or something. How would that even work, anyway?
