Introduction

Hey there. My name's Mekan, and I'm a hacker. Born and raised on Omega, lived on the Citadel for a while. Did some shit. Helped kill a Terminus warlord, helped colonies weaponize farm equipment during the War. Worked with an STG agent to save the galaxy from evil fungi once, but that's a long-ass story. My social network used to consist of everything from reporters to cops to mercenaries to ex-terrorists to megacorporate CEOs and a couple of Alliance military personnel. I own an electronic warfare corvette that I got from a deal with a certain shady member of society who faked his death once. Loaned it to a PMC for the War, got it back afterwards.

Scratching out a living on Erszbat right now. First actual planet I've lived on; Everywhere else has been a space station - first Omega, and then the Citadel. It's not so bad. I bribe the local cops and work gangs, and they leave me in peace, let me do my shit, and don't look too closely. Of course, I need to be careful who I piss off. I'm a little fish in a big-ass pond.

Sure, after reading all of this varrenshit, you must be thinking I'm full of crap. Corporate CEOs and STG agents. I'm totally a goddamn action hero, right? But, really, I'm just an average guy who has just gotten involved in shit bigger than myself in the past.

Anyways, more about what I do these days. Lately, I've been running an extrablog where I analyze batarian politics and conspiracy theories in a somewhat-thoughtful manner. I ain't gonna be shouting that the Confederate government is putting shit in the drinking water, but what I talk about, I TRY to think through. I'll also be talking about criminal underworld economics, electronics, computer technology, hacking, cybersecurity, and other topics like entertainment, so even if you're not into politics or conspiracies, you might find something of interest - particularly any readers from the Terminus Systems. The title of the blog is 'Prophet.' Kind of dramatic, I know.
