It's basically Mercenary Central, and they're the most likely types to buy that kind of thing because of their line of work and tendency to need replacement limbs and more guns. Can't go wrong with merging it all into the same package. With that kind of demographic, someone will buy it.

Don't allow the delay to trouble you. Illness can fell any of us so it is better to attend to that rather than over exert oneself.
I expect individuals ask you about black holes because they have been not only romanticized in many cultures, but are also a wonderfully evocative way to introduce people to stellar physics. It makes for good science programming on the extranet.
And I wouldn't mind if you expected daring tales of adventure. I have had a few of those in the field. Mostly the trouble comes when people neglect to show the mountains of paperwork on both sides of an expedition. Permits, papers, write ups, expense reports, detailed accounts, filing and sorting.

Unfortunately aid for the few who live on my planet is unlikely to come. They either chose to stay behind or were abandoned during our initial exodus. In either case they now paint themselves as the inheritors of the world and will not leave it. Beyond that the galactic economy is not exactly so overflowing with wealth that anyone could spare the cost of a fleet of ships and a veritable army of psychologists to save a few Drell and habilitate them to wider civilization. There are a few charity organizations that help out though. Equal parts saving or reclaiming our culture or trying to slowly bring the natives up to speed. At least one tribe has taken to guarding a landing zone for ships which they now see as messengers from the gods.

You should visit Rannoch. It's a lovely place I'm told, and other than the protein problem it's pleasant for the Drell as well. Wonderfully dry over most of the surface.

You make a good point in regards to keeping the traditions alive. I do what I can and make sure that records survive for future generations. That's why I go to the homeworld actually. Much of our culture was lost in the exodus due to a reliance on oral traditions. Luckily at least some of the stories still survive and when I am lucky I can coax natives into telling them to me. And yes one can hope that others will be interested in our culture. I think some of the stories might make a good vid.

I spend much of my time around corpses, a little awkwardness is a welcome change from that. So yes we should meet at some point. There is a lovely little Quarian run Cafe I favor for meetings like this. I will find a time.

I took your suggestions into consideration and it turned out to be surprisingly easy to link a few archaeological databases into the app. I used a modern language translator as a 'bridge' of sorts and the end result is pretty pleasing, so far as I can tell, though obviously it'll need some field testing. I used it to scan and compare some fairly well-known inscriptions and it came up with a reasonable version of the correct translation far more often than not, and even when it can't do that it provides a list of known languages and writing systems following similar patterns or containing similar symbols. Here is a link to a free download of the next beta, I hope it proves useful!

Now, to begin with, here's a Data file on all the relevant information on the Corvette's design. It's adaptable, and was marketed as an all purpose vessell for any buyer's needs. I've also highlighted some possible upgrades that can be added on, but the Corvette's never going to be much for head to combat, unless it has support. More of a run and gun sort of design, though I have to give the designers a star for making her notably durable.

Now, as for the damage, as I said, most of it's in the interior and superficial. Worst of it is some extensive repair to one of the He-3 stores, but can be repaired, given time and some proper sealant. The worst of it, in my opinion, is the smell, which we haven't been able to quite get rid of. The adjutants corpses, despite the lack of atmosphere in the interior, have left behind quite the odor.

GARDIAN weapon systems also require an unpgrade, but even as they are, after calibration, they still fire with remarkable precision. It's possible that additional weapon systems could be added on, but I have to admit, that isn't my area of expertise.

Well, you might be right about the black holes.
It's still quite ironic that this seems to be the first thing that comes to people's mind when thinking about stellar physics. (I mean, the word "stellar" actually rather indicates stars before collapsing, right? Sorry, just could not resist...)

I by the way know the eternal horror for paperwork myself. Sine I'm working on running an independent research project with a group of fellow students we encounter much of it. We however actually have someone to do paperwork for us - Mostly because he appears to like this sort of work. (Which is a complete enigma to the rest of us though.)

Regarding the Drell on Rakhana I think they actually have all right to call themselves inheritors by now - I mean after all, they have lived an entire life on Rakhana getting used to things like this. I however often am surprised about the fact that nobody (or rather the vast majority) does not seem to care about people left behind.
One should think that especially keeping up a few remaining individuals of a vastly decimated society should be in everyone's interest. Not just for the sake of the Drell themselves but also outer societies for sake of preservation. (But then again looking at the history of my own people there's living proof that almost nobody seemed to care in the past...)

When it comes to keeping alive as much of your own culture and history as possible, did you ever think about strategically asking the ones who still live on Rakhana? I mean as far as I know your people have an outstanding memory, and many of them might have to tell interesting stories..
(Don't get me wrong, of course I consider archaeology to be a necessary part of reconstructing and keeping up traditions, but I think things might become much easier with help of as many people (and their information) as possible.)

As for the meeting, just tell me when you'd find time and would like to.
Currently I have to admit I have rather rare time, for since today I am looking after a friend's son, and still am behind schedule on my own works.

In particular, it was unable to offer its final appreciation for the musical performance, which was most stimulating.
