C-Sec announced today that they have arrested Uli Schwenke, a human male suspected of having attempted to bomb Aroch College during its Non-Council Integration conference. Schwenke, 34, was living in a temporary housing project for disenfranchised refugees prior to being taken into custody.

“In the course of this investigation, we were able to trace the suspect’s location by comparing his genetic fingerprint on file with that of the parcel, particularly the explosives,” C-Sec Lieutenant Catio Polix announced to the press.

Following Schwenke’s arrest, the anti-synthetic group “Geth Watch”, to whom the suspect had been affiliated with, made an official statement renouncing any and all ties between Schwenke and the organization.

To clarify: We were not involved with the attacks upon Eden Prime, Feros, or the Citadel.

To use a human colloquialism, those actions were performed by "our evil twin."

Those would be the equivalent of Cerberus for humans, Saren for turians, Benezia for asaris, Balak for batarians and so forth.

If the Geth were evil, they would have enough time to take over the galaxy. Earth, Palavin, and Thessia are in ruins. Addendum: Organics may have been alerted to a series of geth incursions along the Kite's Nest and remote sections of the Perseus Veil. Organics are advised that these geth are also "evil and dumb," and that they in no way should be viewed as reason to attempt a second enforced termination of geth.

Interesting indeed. You should have worked on teh exact wording a bit though maybe.
Seriously though, that would have been a good move and also a possibility to take concerted action against the heretics (and the initial Reaper threat). That would have built some trust as well.

I can understand that the inactivity of the real geth against the so called hereitcs (at least, if there was action, it wasn't visible to the rest of the galaxy) is still a base for mistrust. You were all viewed as one and the same and you didn't do anything to prevent or correct that right away.

Why didn't the real geth jump to the side of those forces of organics fighting the heretics in that initial phase? That is a question I have asked myself a few times now. It would have helped the effort and maybe prevented a lot of bad things.

Yes, but I seriously assume that the geth knew about the heretics way before we did on a larger sacle. Also the fact that the Reapers were indoctrinating their kin and the intention of the heretics to come out and go on the offensive.

A pre-warning could have been way before everyone was totally hyped up. A warning that the heretics are coming and who's puppeteering them.

It is all spectualation though.
