Probably. :) A great many French people speak very good English.

Gone to Transformerscon, bac on Tuesday.

But I've a rendezvous with Death
At midnight in some flaming town,

And I to my pledged word am true,
I shall not fail that rendezvous.

"Ou est la salle de bain?" (ooo ay la sall deh bayn) and "Parlez-vous anglais" (par-lay-voo ahn-glay) will help out a lot. And don't forget "au secours!" and "aidez-moi!" for emergencies!

I will be moving this weekend. Internet is supposed to be possible by Sunday night, but we haven't even finished packing and already have had many unfortunate surprises (I was unaware mold came in so many colors :|), sooooo I'm not making promises about when you'll see me again.

Don't torment each other too much while I'm gone. :p

May you never forget what is worth remembering, nor ever remember what is best forgotten.

Starting next week I'll be moving and setting up my internet so I'll be MIA until I get situated. Apologies to everyone I'm RP'ing with

Here's hoping it all goes smoothly, Snow. See you when you're set up. :)

Hi everyone. Work's messing me around this week, moving from store to store - I'll still be posting in the evenings, but I doubt I'll have enough time to get in more-or-less-kind-of daily posts in everything I'm in at the moment. Sorry to all concerned, hopefully it won't be too tiresome, and next week things will be back to normal (i.e. back at my store, where I can muck about on the internet half the day because there's nobody senior to me to complain).

PS: Seeking_Rakhana, I do still want to do that sword thread - if you want to start it, setting the scene for wherever Daia would be invited to check out the swords, go ahead, otherwise I'll try to get a starting post up in the next couple of days, with a bit of luck.

Breaking news update thing!

Apparently, if your hotel room's lights are on the fritz, the best way to convey this is "nous avons une problème avec le... er... blinky-blinky?".

Certainly worked for me, anyway.

Also, I'm not sure what they told the people making the French version of Dr Pepper, but that stuff is evil.

Hahaha. Oh man, if he's taking a drink of chinotto thinking it's Dr. Pepper, then that's hilarious. (Sorry Emile, but it's true. Also: chinotto is delicious)

It totally said Dr Pepper on the can!

In fact, I bought two and ended up not drinking the second - I shall take a picture and prove it!

I'm in vacations these days, so I'll have sporadic CDN access for a week I think.

Average_Citizen Average Omegan - Like That's A Thing
Starting preparations for my second year of uni (and applying for industrial placements, which is way more work than necessary >_<), so I might be posting less frequently than usual. I'll still be around, though, and I'll do my best to keep up with threads I'm posting in.

Starting my vacation back to Canuckistan tomorrow, and back on the 24th. I'll be around (I'm far too jacked in to back out now), but I'll be less accessible.

Have fun while I'm gone! <3

When I was a wee lad we just called that "camping".

Me mysteriously "getting busy" has been lengthened to permanent due to extreme dissatisfaction with the forum and how I perceive it as a toxic environment.
