Introduction

Average_Citizen, known to real people as Lessina Moore, here. I'm a recently-qualified paramedic at one of the Shepard Memorial Hospitals on Omega. One of the little ones - just a glorified clinic, really, but still. I have a legitimate job that I'm actually qualified to do. Hell of a lot better than before.

... It still sounds funny to say that, y'know. 'Qualified'. For those C-Space types who don't know Omega, education wasn't really a thing here. Like, at all. There was a few volunteer places run by the bleeding hearts, maybe, but nothing formal. It wasn't until Aria started doing legit business with C-Space that people thought 'hey, let's teach kids something more than how to efficiently shank each other!'.

OK, maybe I'm exaggerating. It's not like I've been living in the fucking Abyss or something. There was always a degree of civility here - not much, but something. And it has been getting better recently. I guess you always bitch about home, eh?
