Corona Am I the only one who uses the same handle on here?
Sorry for the late reply, boys and girls.

Wheel above, would you? I'd owe you one for that. Might be I could see if any Colossus armor's fallen off the back of an airtruck or something.

Oh, and T'Drogo? Heh. Yeah, about her...guess who was one of the first ones hit when Nos Astra Command got knocked out?
You've got yourself a deal mate - worst case scenario and everything, so don't give up on your own command yet. But if it falls through (fucking Command), I've got your back.

Wryly: Just barely, major. Assholes didn't think there were commandos my size out there.

Matter-of-factly: Hey, I get a good kick out of observing extranet arguments. I know damn well that you share the feeling.
Hah. You showed them, right?

...actually, that reminds me. Might need your help with something - I'll ping you in a few days, yeah?

So any of you got your hands on the new security mechs they've been pumping out? From what I hear they're a lot more efficient than the HK models, the most advanced ones seem to be the result of having geth or quarian consultants involved in development and testing.
Yup. None of that Rannotech though - never trust something you can't make bleed - but the latest Republics stuff. Can't go into details about their specs, obviously, but tides they're magnificent in action.

Scimitar shotgun for close up and personal, ML-77 Missile Launcher for when the enemy on the far side of the room requires some spice o life, as many grenades as I can carry, and a few remote explosives to mix it up a little bit.
ML-77? Jealous. My HW quals expired during the siege, so they tell me, so it'll be another oh-so-fun course before I can pick up anything larger than a grenade again. Tides.

Sergeant Hadrian Mars, formerly of Bekenestein 27th Security division. Now, I'm in limbo on Illium. Supposed to transfer to a new command soon, but in the meantime, they're keeping me and the other BBB's (Babied Bastards of Bekenstein, seriously couldn't the rest of the corp come up with a dumber nickname) running security for the paranoid fucks on Illium.

Eclipse forever. Cheers.
Bekenstein? Shit. Heard about what happened to the place, good luck getting reshuffled.

She's independent. All about getting your name out.

Sister will get away with it.

Rest, well, I hope you like rear echelon?
I'm guessing you're InfoSec? Or maybe wetworks? Either way, you've got it wrong, buddy. Names are on the record - deployment details ain't. 'Slong as nobody posts where they're bivouacked or where they're killing up a storm, it's all cool.

Major T'Nara, Eclipse commando... okay, okay, only in that one movie (not an adult one, if anyone's wondering). But last time we had lunch before she shipped off, mentioning that still got a chuckle out of Nassa, so it's worth it. :)

And, as Ana said, us on Illium haven't forgotten what Eclipse did. We owe you.
Oh tides, I'm crying with laughter here. Like, tears down the face and everything! But it's a great movie, Daia. Hell, even bought that charity collector's edition they minted a few months back.

(And I miss Illium, sometimes. How's the reconstruction going? Have the coriolis storms died down?)

My, my, am I late to the party.

Major Melindra Vesh of 24 Company here (a massive thank you to the War for that little promotion), and before 'fourth contact' starts nagging my pretty blue tzu, I'm rather confident that Command couldn't care less about me giving my name out. Honestly, dear, they have much bigger things to worry about.

As for things on my end, well, 24 Company was battered on Earth last year. Still a lower casualty rate than the Suns unit we were forced to work with, of course, but the odds were stacked against us. So now I have a collection of idiotic maidens who somehow made it through basic huntress training, some salarians who don't even begin to compare to the engineers I had before and an assortment of baby-faced humans who swear they served with the Alliance in the War, but don't know their way around a omnitool that's been decently set up for combat.

Athame have mercy on me.
Long time no see, Major (congrats on the promotion! I heard Earth was hell. Tides). Rebuilding's a bitch, ain't it? But heh, with a right harridan like yourself in command, you'll have them sorted out in no time. Which system's 24 operating from, these days?

Tides, you're a glum one, ain't ya? (Though I love the implication that asari rule the roost in a shared corp. Seriously, you seen the number of frogs at the top? Privilege ain't got nothing to do with age, it's about surviving)

Somebody's bitter. What happened, dear, did someone turn your gloomy self down for a promotion?

...

Oh. You're one of those. Don't like the froggies? (As if the STG has enough people to 'run half our organisation'. They've got enough on their plate, what with the SDU terrorists and the whole 'galactic hatred' thing)

Besides, you can't really criticise the Sisterhood for being 'loud crude brute force' or whatever and then say "oh noes, we don't like the frogs, they're too sneaky and subtle."
