Introduction

Tides, didn't expect this place to survive.

Anyway, for the newbies, name's D'Veyra. Major D'Veyra, Eclipse. Big on fun and fighting, not so much on idiots.

Alright, so, hope to see you 'round, 'less you're an idiot. And if we ever wind up on opposite sides of some battlefield somewhere, it was nice knowing you.

Yeah, works for me. Have fun slugging it out with your POGs.

(Sure thing. :P)
Sorry for the short reply - arguing with some of the stylus-scratchers here about my qualifications. Tides. Fucking REMFs.

Drunken Varren's a bit out of the way for me, but what the hell, I'm in. This Rustday work for you?

((Still want to set up the thread? ^^))
Not exactly in one piece---there were a few holes where there weren't any before, but those've healed up by now.

Sounds like you're in the same boat as me. 5th Mech got shot up pretty fucking bad so we're trying to bring as many vets as possible without a unit into 9 Commando. Lots of recruits who saw action during the war as well, so we're trying to snatch the best of them up before some other unit does. Not fucking likely, though---we've been labelled as being on Del'Serah's side of the fence, and with Omega being Aria's turf...Vosque's dumbasses probably get 'em before us.

Hrm...Afterlife's typically too crowded, Screaming Pyjak's in our turf...how about the Drunken Varren? You can still get your Hallex hit and there's dancing but they won't look at you like you're a fuckhead if you're not on the floor.

And will do---can't guarantee he'll return it though.
Tides Daye, last I heard you were off to London to see the King (idk, something one of the newbies in 16 says - I'll never get you furheads). Make it out in one piece, yeah?

And yeah, I'm on Omega - familiarisation courses and trying to rebuild 16 Company with new recruits and the vets from 89. What do you think of the place since, well, the war and all?

And tides yes I could use a drink and a catch-up. Know anywhere decent? Only clubs I've found are either, well, not your scene or eye-deep in Eclipse territory.

Oh, and say hi to that Centurion of yours for me too, yeah?
Holy fuck, you're alive. I know they say old mercs never die and all that (not that either of us are old), but damn. If you're ever by Omega lemme know. I think we both owe each other a fuckton of booze.
