Wouldn't it make sense to have him in a facility where even that wasn't possible. I imagine (though I do admit ignorance in this regard) there are plenty of measures which can be taken to prevent communication at all. And honestly why would an innocent man be going to such extremes anyway? Why wouldn't he simply state the truth? Why is he having strangers break into his property? I'm sorry but maybe I'm rather frustrated over my losses recently but I see nothing here that doesn't scream: "HELP! HELP! I GOT CAUGHT AS A TERRORIST BUT I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING." After all, a poor soul who believed the universe was out to get him, that the walls were closing in? What's to say he didn't snap?
