So it's pretty apparent that I haven't been around here as much as usual lately. There're a couple of reasons for that, both good and bad. Let's start with the bad - I'm working 40 hours every week, I'm stressing out finalising the preparations for a 6 week backpacking trip around South America (Zoft, you might be interested to know there is actually a Casa de Cachaça two blocks from where we're staying in Foz do Iguaçu) and I think I'm coming down with chronic fatigue syndrome. The simple fact is that I'm just too exhausted to post regularly, and for that I'm sorry.

But enough about the bad. The good stuff's the important stuff =)

So, first off, I kinda graduated =)



And, secondly and more importantly (so much more importantly), the photographer and I are now living together =)

So I hope you can all understand why I'm finding it hard to write blood and grim and war crimes when I'm so god-damn happy.

I'll be back at some point, CDN (because you guys are far too much fun), but don't wait up =)

Eugene Hutz has a townhouse in Foz do Iguaçu (although he normally lives in Sao Paulo, I think), so if you see an IRL Eightball drinking a six-foot-tall caipirinha, know that you are not experiencing some strange fugue state. Just raise a fist and shout "venceremos!" at him and he'll probably buy you a drink.

So, I haven't been around much lately, due to a couple of things.

First, as we move towards Christmas, work is getting steadily busier, which has sort of forced me into doing more than usual (namely, taking shifts in other departments).

Secondly, a relative of mine was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, so... Yeah.

Hopefully I should be back sometime next year, though I might still lurk occasionally.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hey guys! Haven't been posting lately, and haven't even made it into chat.

I won't go into details of all the many things I've had to deal with in the past two weeks, the short version is I lost my job and my laptop died. I pretty much straight away bought a custom spec PC, mostly because I can. That's set to arrive early next week, so once I've got that set up, expect to see a bit more of me (probably a lot, actually, seeing as I suddenly have a lot more free time).

In the meantime, I'm setting up my parent's new PC and I have one remark: Windows 8 sucks.

I've got an interview in DC on Friday... so I'll be gone Thursday and Friday this week. Concert thread should start up Saturday.

I've had a really bad week so far and it'll only get worse when my mock exams start next week. I'll try to be on every day though

I really probably should have posted this like, three weeks ago, but my schedule means I flit in and out of here on a regular basis anyway. But might as well make it formal.

Right now I'm working on apartment hunting/job hunting as I get set up in DC since graduating. Hopefully it'll be settled in the next week or so (the apartment part at least), so I shall return. But in the meantime, it's taking up a lot of what free time I have outside of work, or leaves me so mentally drained it's hard to get in the RP zone. But I'll be back. I'm looking forward to starting to play as everyone's favorite Turian politician again after he gets sworn into his office. Ha ha.

Life got complicated. See you all sometime next week; I'll try to get a post up where I'm needed.

I'm going to cut down my activity here barring the threads I have going on. TGW won't be updating at least, but Going Postal will proceed normally on an elcor's pace.

I'm headed to a three-day interview on Monday... I'll have my PC with me, but I won't likely be able to access the site as much during the day.

Exams this week. I know I haven't been around much anyway, but I need to step away if I'm going to come out of this with some success. Should be back and posting by the end of the week.

Fair warning, I will be out of commission for most of the Mayan Calendar Rollover. If I come back and the world has ended, I am blaming you.

I'll be driving 1600km, starting Sunday, so I won't be around for obvious reasons.

People might have noticed I've not been around much. Not sure why but CDN just isn't holding my interest much at the moment.

I'm still here, but just not as much as usual. Hopefully I'll perk back up after Christmas.

I'm going to be visiting relatives for the next week and a half, and my postings will likely be reduced.
