Private Message to EmileIt's...complicated. Losing mom...it made him into a mess. He resigned his commission on a year and a half before he was due to retire because he just... It's hard to talk about, I guess, mostly. Only reason I mentioned it was because the figurative foot ended up in my mouth when I let some of the things in that thread get to me. But..he's a hero. Watching him fall like this is hard, because he's dad, he's supposed to be superman.

And I've tried to talk him into outside help. But...he's stubborn, he doesn't think he needs it, and the last time we 'discussed' it...well, let's just say I get my bullheadedness from him, and arguing can be exhausting...

Thanks for the concern, though...but I'll get through it. The shit with Mike seems to have pulled him back into semi-normal status, and hopefully he'll stay there.

I came across information that might indicate a location of a Krogan Rebellion-era facility that is still relatively intact. The catch is that to get there we'd need to evade CDEM patrols and possible pirates in transit, and of course try not get killed by the chunks of Rothla floating around.

The prize? Artifacts from the pre-Genophage krogan, which I imagine would be well sought-out by today's inhabitants of Tuchanka.

Again, in all seriousness, I'm sure that you are and will continue to be an excellent mother. You'll make her cry, and she'll probably call you stupid at some point, but you'll hug it out and make up because you are a good person and a good parent.
