Introduction

Immortal words, penned by a man who in the end became nothing more than a puppet for the greatest enemy humanity and the galaxy have ever faced. Though his actions and the actions of others betrayed some as the enemies of mankind they were, the goals and ideas of Cerberus remain as true today as they were when these words were first dictated.

Too many today are victims of the peace time mentality, not willing to see the enemies that lie sleeping at the gates. While you rebuild your homes, the Reapers lurk in the darkness. While you sleep, machine fanatics and countless others work out the mysteries of indoctrination and other technologies. Worse still, those are just what we know of, what other horrors lurk in the dark corners of our galaxy?

Cerberus may have failed to protect humanity once, but we shall not fail again. We will be watching.
