Experts Baffled on How the Ship Got There

Waves were made in the Baalregit system today as salvage company Telchim Intergalactic discovered a turian vessel in geostationary orbit around the planet Pivyarin. The Polegreyut (named for the 36th Primarch of nearby colony Centilim) astounded archaeologists not simply because of its age, but of its function – as it was an oceanic military vessel never equipped for spaceflight, let alone system-based exploration.

“We have no idea how this ship got there in the first place,” said Ewidal Trivat, Head Researcher for the Pivyarin Memorial Archives. “The ship simply disappeared with all hands nearly eighty years ago. How it got off-planet in the first place is beyond me.”

Centilim is currently negotiating the ship’s return from Telchim.

Reminds me of a rather silly HV animated show I was watching about an ocean ship retrofitted to space flight.

Anyway, considering all the documentaries I've seen about the Polegreyut's disappearance, is it wrong that my reaction to this is "meh"?

Well I guess this'll put an end to the three kazillion conspiracy theories running rampart online. I think they made this one movie about Polygreyut where the ship found itself in an other dimension with all kind of horrors and abominations skulking the ship, but the truth is even more outlandish than that silly horror movie.

This one is reassured that there are still mysteries like this out in the galaxy. An entirely known universe would prove much too dull, would it not?

That aside, it is puzzled at how this vessel's miraculous transit fits into the greater pattern. Some meditation is in order.

I don't know how conspiracy theories work on Palaven, but I'm pretty sure that if a Batarian naval ship was found in space, it would be the START of five time more theories!

I don't know exactly how this happened, or what to make of it, but I will say this: Vote Vallario, and I assure you that I will rebuild the Citadel Defense Force, petition the Council to strengthen the Citadel Fleet, and make sure we never have to resort to trying to put aquatic vessels into space to defend ourselves.

Damn. How the - How did they even manage that? Can't wait to hear what crazy theories they cook up on the extranet though.
