First, hello again everyone, a pleasure to have extranet access again, and to see you all once more. To any new faces here, Lynn Conway of C-Sec at your service.

Well, due to the manpower shortage following the end of the war, I'm currently working as an instructor for new recruits here at C-Sec in addition to a promotion to SRU. Lots more paperwork now than I ever had in Enforcement, but I'm not going to lie, the pay is nice.

Anyway, if you would give me the privilege to say it...in just a short while, I'm getting married. :)

I've already mentioned this to you, but I figured I might as well vent my relief that I don't have your job in public. Training recruits? Sounds like hell. And whilst I can't say much for merc work, at least the paperwork is pretty much non-existent. Or, at least, the grunts like me don't see it.

And congratulations again on the wedding, of course! I take it my invitation was lost in the post, and you in no way didn't want someone who was kicked off the force at an event full of coppers?

You always had to one-up me, didn't you, Lynn? At least both your eyes are the same. And I know SR has a bigger insurance budget than good old Enforcement, so at least you don't have the neon green robot eyes plugged into your skull.

(In all seriousness, though, I've got some maintenance tips I've picked up over the last year if you need 'em. Turns out there's quite a knack to it.)

Note to folks considering the cyber-eye look: believe it or not, you see differently through shitty, shitty cybernetics than you do through a real eye. And it's not fun trying to calibrate the buggers so you can shoot properly. Honestly, it was almost easier with the eye-patch.
