Didn't get to meet the mayor but one of his aids gave me a rough estimate on how much the property would cost once all the factors were taken into account: a lot. A lot a lot alot. There is no way I'd be able to afford it at my paygrade, even with the return on the stock I hold - at least not at the moment.
If I were to take some risks, look towards means to accumulate extra credits, then maybe I could afford it. Still that probably won't be until several months from now IF I'm lucky and IF the price doesn't hike up. Lots of variables.
In other news the mechs the Alliance are fielding now look fucking sweet, pardon my language. They have a much more fluid structure than the HK secmeches of years past, the guy said it was to prevent them from constantly falling over or having bits of them shot off.

Inspected a new shipment of security mechs for the garrison today, free of charge. My CO contacted me and told me that he was doing his best to sweep things under the rug, I wish him the best of luck. While I pray that I can return to my place in the Alliance I am at least secure in the knowledge that I have other opportunities.
Continuing to purchase shares of Eclipse, going to town hall to discuss property rights with the mayor, if all goes according to plan then the company quite possibly might have a permanent place in Alliance space. Assuming things go without too many hitches I will defer to the judgment of the consultant they send given that an Eclipse employee herself made me perfectly clear of how little I grasp in regards to their security operations.
