Growing up on Omega is hard, even harder when you're a drell. Trained not to trust and how to kill, Atrus was sure to end up as a hitman for a gang, or worse. When Aria first encountered Commander Shepard in his second life, she thought of the young Drell who had been hired to kill her. Locked up in a cellar far beneath Afterlife, Atrus was bloodied and beaten for days before he woke up in the cargo bay of a freighter bound for Eden Prime. Finding stow-aways on their ship, the Batarians immediately wanted to throw the drell out of the airlock, only to see Aria's calling card tattooed in a large 'Omega' symbol on his back. On Eden Prime, the drell was thrown out onto a field to die and the freighter took off to the other side of the planet. Eventually, a passing Alliance patrol passed him, picked him up, and gave him medical attention.Recognizing the kindness and never willing to leave a debt unsettled, the young drell fought through the Alliance's beurocracy and became the first drell to serve in the Alliance Fleet. Currently aboard the Citadel station, awaiting first orders after rifleman and the IFS flight school, Atrus is hoping to see a little action before everything goes to hell.
