Introduction
Hello, my name is Michael Sullivan. I was born on Earth in the year 2157. My family moved to the Citadel when I was thirteen. It was then that I met my first Spectre. Or that is what most people would say, about how they ended up at a dead-end job as a C-Sec officer. Me? I just got unlucky punk (I honestly have trouble remembering where I heard that from.) I honestly couldn't find a job that was willing to pay a guy who barely passed high school, has no higher education, and my only redeeming skill is the fact that I know how to shoot a gun. Not great at it, but still it's something. So I joined the Alliance Military when I was 18. Hey, I needed the money. I thought it would be a relatively easy job. And it was. It truly was. Until the Reapers hit. So far the Colony I had been stationed at, Uqbar, had been left alone by the Collectors, and the Geth. Honestly it was an almost symbolic gesture having Alliance Marines on the planet. There were about three hundred of us. The worst that happened was some smuggling, or the odd pirate raid. Nothing major happened. Until the Alliance got intel the Reapers were coming.Hell if it wasn't for the Shanghai I don't think any of us would have survived. I mean, three hundred marines versus an army of Reaper Zombies (I could never remember what to call them. Most of the time I didn't care, I just shot at them.)
Anyway floated around for most of the rest of the war on the Shanghai. Participated in the Battle of Earth. I don't like talking about what happened there. Once the war ended, and Shepard did the Vodoo Magic that won the war. The Reapers became our allies, and I left the Alliance. Joined C-Sec once the Citadel was up and running again.
And that is the story of how I became a C-Sec officer in a dead end job.
