History

Pre-War:

- Service Chief and squad leader in the 4th Fleet, defending Earth.
- Former Unit: 2nd Platoon, Echo Company, 8th Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 11th Marine Regiment, 77th Division.
- Assigned to the alliance cruiser SSV Munich, under the command of Captain William Hultmark.


Reaper War:

- Groundside with his squad in Vancouver when the Reaper invasion began. The Munich - along with the rest of the 4th Fleet - was destroyed within hours of the initial attack, stranding Halford and his men.
- The squad escaped the city to join Admiral Anderson's Resistance, participating in urban incursions in the southern and mid-western states, disrupting Reaper activity and targeting harvesting operations.
- Six weeks into the invasion, the squad - along with another - were tasked with making contact with a contingent of UNAS armed forces near Denver. When contact was made, the nationals proved to be indoctrinated, attempting to capture the Alliance marines to buy Reaper lenience. Of Halford's squad, only Halford and Corporal Reese survived the incident.
- The pair were merged into units in the central UNAS, working their way eastward with the long-term goal of being deployed to the largest harvesting centers on the continent along the eastern coast, specifically Manhattan Island.
- When word of the Liberation Fleet and Crucible's impending arrival reached the Resistance, Halford's squad was redeployed to London, to assist in the Hammer offensive.


Post-War:

- Promoted to Gunnery Chief, currently stationed in the UNAS, on Earth. Latest posting is Vancouver.
- Given the destruction of the Fourth Fleet, the remnants helping to form the Resistance on Earth were merged into other surviving Alliance fleets. Halford was transferred to the First Fleet, his current unit 3rd Platoon, Bravo Company, 6th Battallion, 2nd Brigade, 7th Marine Regiment, 65th division.
- From here, he has been participating in policing actions on Earth under SATAE's direction all across the globe, though primarily in the UNAS.
