OOC:
Operative Isabelle Mirice has led a troubled life. Recruited straight into the
Alliance Intelligence Service out of university, she was later recruited into
Cerberus, working as a double agent for years with never the slightest suspicion of doubt from her
Alliance superiors.
That all changed with the Reaper War and Cerberus' 'Great Work'. Given her Internal Affairs designation, Isabelle was spared the integration procedure, in favour of manipulating her position in (ultimately futile) attempts to recapture or assassinate various Cerberus defectors.
Once her cover was blown (corroborated by the testimony of other defectors she had previously worked with), Isabelle was dispatched to supervise a small research project based on Corvette 18115, sitting out the rest of the War.
With the traumatic effects of the War's closing days, such as the obliteration of Cronos Station and the firing of the Crucible, Corvette 18115 was cast adrift, only
just making contact with the rest of the galaxy.
Among the helpful suggestions to kill herself and contact from former (and not-so-former) Cerberus personnel, Mirice also received an offer of help from the Band,
leading to their first contact with the galaxy in more than a year as well as their safe passage to Illium.
From Illium, Mirice's movements become... murky. The safest bet is that
the crew pirated their shuttle somewhere en route to Shanxi, then set up shop
somewhere with colonial prefabs. Sightings of that same shuttle in Sector
KHOUZX3MM are either fictitious or should be reported to Alliance Intelligence at once. Rumours that Mirice is attempting to make contact with former Cerberus assets are being monitored by the Alliance Investigative Service, as is a rumour that she is in contact with
heretic scientists, Alliance separatists, wanted criminals and slavers.
Mirice's recent comments have taken a turn for, well, the
disturbing - most notably, repeated references to
humanity's "Facinus Moment" are particularly troubling.
