Trex is Vindi's half-sister. After Vindi's mother Ava was executed for shooting the vice-primarch (concealed truth: Ava was the spotter, Vindi pulled the trigger), Vindi's father Chaco Guerra travelled to Omega where he met up with a younger woman and conceived Trex. Chaco left before the child was born--before he could be roped into the duties of fatherhood--but soon after Trex's sixth birthday, he showed up again, claiming a desire to be involved in his daughter's life.

It was no coincidence that desire took the form of teaching her to shoot. When he realized Trex had Vindi's natural skill with a gun, he took her with him, back to Solregit, against her mother's wishes.

Trex trained on Solregit but soon returned to Omega as Chaco's drug habit continued to grow and he became more deeply involved in the poppy trade to finance his own use. Ultimately, Trex came to be working as an assassin for Omega Chieftain and drug warlord Quatra Quatri.

When Omega fell, Quatra decided to take over the Citadel Clan and sent Trex to kill Vindi when Cerberus took over the Citadel. Thanks to Mexta217, she failed.
