Biography
So about my past.I was born in Kassel, European Union (Germany).
My dad and my uncle were the owner of Schmidt Consultings, a lawfirm feared for its ruthless yet entirely legal business parctices through most of the EU.
As my dad would say "We defend our clients to the best of our ability, justice is not our concern."
My mom was an E0 expert at the local university and died when from E0 poisoning shortly after I was born. Before you ask, no I am not a biotic, I belong to the 90% category of people who never develope any kind of ability. On the bright side I never got cancer either.
My dad wasn't exactly the dad I wanted to have, he tried, but ultimately I turned out to different from him. He wanted me to be a suitable heir to the lawfirm, and I, well I resented that.
After I got my abitur I chose to attend an apprenticeship at a local company that produced electric and optronic components for a wide array of products.
After that, I went to the community collage get BA in computer sciences.
Around the time I did the final exams the citadel got hit by the original sovereign and the alliance lost many good men there and was short in people with experiences other than pointing a gun.
I never intended to be stuck on earth, so I applied at the nearest recruiting office. For one, it was an opportunity to get off earth, secondly I could do something I could be actually proud off (i.e. unlike defending corporations from "unjust" regulations) and you know, see the stars they say...
From there I was sent to the factilties on mars for basic training and additional NCO lessons since my college degree made me eligable to enter above grunt level.
I graduated as Service Chief and was sent off to my first assaignment on the SSV Teutoburg Forest as part of its electronic warfare crew. The ship is still in service.
My second assaingment came a year later and was the maintenance division of the Alliance Tower, the major military space dock and now central command of the alliance military in all but name. I helped the crew there to employ new policies combating personal shortage, an accomplishment I am most proud off, but couldn't have down without my good freind and long time veteran of the alliance tower's workforce OpsChief Okanigawa.
I left it as an OpsChief myself, and what followed is still classified.
My last assaignment was the N7 Unit Iron Cobra of which you can read from the released reports. Some people treat me as a damn hero, but in reality it was days of boredom interupted by moments of terror.
I left the Alliance's armed forces during the last months as it became clear to me that it reforms itself from a provisorial government into a miliatary dictatorship. I know, it isn't obvious and the alliance did a lot of good, but as we germans say, "Wehret den Anfängen." (Beware of the beginnings.) I will have no hand in the erosion of the very freedom and democracy I fought tooth and nail to defend.
I founded Schmidt Solutions with my share of the inheritence my brain-melted dad left to me and my cousin. I own a small company that sell guns, omni-tools, military surpluss and mods (standart and custom made).
