Biography

Arash is a somewhat idealistic Drell archaeologist. Born on the citadel in one of the lower wards he barreled through school due to the usual perfect memory and a penchant for study. While raised to respect the Hanar he is not part of the Compact and has no desire to enter into it.

Arash is a firm believer in the old religion of his people, in part due to the mystery of it. His quick mind, a minor technical aptitude and a general lack of readily available info on ancient Drell history lead him into a study of cultural history and archaeology. He holds a post-graduate degree and supplements research with (mostly legal, only moderately dangerous) field work. His specialty is pre-Compact Drell but he has a more than passing interest in all current cycle ancient cultures. He feels that the study of Protheans is far to crowded a field to get any work done.

As a side effect of his work and study Arash is pragmatically multicultural, enjoying art and food and innovations from many places and time periods.

Physically Arash stands about as tall as any other Drell, and is perhaps the tiniest bit skinnier than average thanks to an academic's budget. His skin tends more towards brown and sandy than the slightly more common green and lush, an artifact of his particular ancestry from Rakhana. His attire is well worn and casual, though in the field he is known to wear some light armor and carry a replica of an ancient machete for practical reasons.
