Biography
Irena was born to a Polish-Scottish family in Glasgow. She was detected as an early biotic, and went to BAat at 13. She enlisted in the military at 18. By 23 she had gotten married, then at 27 she was divorced following the filing of domestic violence charges against her husband. Her L2 implants cause serious neural distress, and her erratic behaviour resulting in a disorderly conduct infraction. Her implants were upgraded to more stable L3s soon after, and she rose to be the Captain of a small recon vessel (SSV Cedarvale) for 4 years until recall to the front lines of the fight against the reapers. She is on a prescription of steroids for persistent respiratory weakness due to smoking and refusal to switch to non-carcinogenic alternatives. Because of this she has annual pre-screenings for signs of cancer.
