Biography

Ah, you came. I wondered if you would. I guess I owe you a proper introduction. A better one, I mean.

My name is Vandar Selenus, and I'm a turian. If that bothers you, please do send me your address so we can duel to the death like honourable people.
...
That was a joke.

You already know some things, so I won't repeat myself much. I suppose I could talk about the Reapers or something. You already know about that, though. Everyone knows about that. Why, back in my day, humans weren't even real.

Well, no, they were real, but no-one knew about them. Relay 314 and all. No, I wasn't at Shanxi. No, I don't hate humans. And no, I don't give a damn whether you do or not. I'm just content to live out my life in peace. Like that's ever going to happen.

Trained as an infiltrator for the Hierarchy. You know, the cloak-and-sniper ones. I've still got the kit lying around somewhere - Krysae AM rifle (definitely the most useful I've seen), Phalanx, tac-cloak. Gave the SMG away to a civvie on Cipritine when the invasion began. Never found out what happened to him. I didn't have much use for it myself, anyway. I'll talk about that or something.

Early 2170s. I won't be more specific than that, because as far as I know the clean-up op's still going. Patrol on the edge of Hierarchy space, ran into batarian pirates. The ship moved to intercept, we moved to intercept. Long story short, we beat the hell out of them, but not before one caught me with a rocket. And I was cloaked, too. Lucky shot. Anyway, blew my leg right off. Got a crappy prosthetic there now, malfunctioning every few minutes. After that they moved me to base defending. Boring as hell.

Moved to C-Sec eventually. Office work, that sort of thing. Also boring as hell. Eventually went to Illium - where I am not now. Long story.

Currently employed as a freelance... Well, for want of a better word, mercenary. It's more honourable than it sounds. I never pictured myself doing this crap either, but don't judge just yet. I'm not one of those two-credit red sand smugglers. Not really my thing.

And I'm talking too much.

OK, so now I'm on Omega, and working as some sort of combat medic or something. There was this job offer on Illium - kill a volus in a building and get easy creds. Well, I hired Eclipse to kill the volus for me (he had a hell of a lot of guards), and then the guy who was supposed to pay me... didn't. So I couldn't pay Eclipse. Some Omega medic company (FEMES, if you're wondering) offered to pay off the debt, but only if I went over and worked for them for the rest of my life. Better than being tortured by Eclipse, right?

... Right...?
