I found these old photos...

So I'm sorting through some of my old belongings I've received at the clinic and I managed to find my omnitool, completely functional and intact.

I was just looking through the files on it when I came across some images I had saved on it. It bought up some very uncomfortable memories, but nothing too serious, thankfully.





I took these back when I was doing aide work in the refugee camps, during the war. I completely forgot I had taken these until now.

I do wonder where all the people in those photos are now.

I'll try and dig through my omnitool to see if I can unearth anything else later, I'll just leave these here for everyone to see.

My job continuously reminded me that some of those refugees weren't the innocent needy people that we wanted them to be. But I'll be spirits damned if I'm not proud to say I protected those people to the very end.

What is that liquid leaking out of that doll's eyes?

I like how people are surprised that dolls become even more creepy as they age, really, I mean it's a -doll-. A wooden one from the looks of it, probably a hand me down.

Looking back, I'm shocked it's only been a year since this.

I had hoped never to see images of those things again...

I couldn't sleep for a week because the damn screaming woke me up every time I managed to doze off for just a little bit, if you've ever seen one of these in person you know what I'm talking about. I'd rather fight a Thresher Maw on foot than one of those abominations ever again.

This one must really question the wisdom of posting such photos not even a year after the Light of the Enkindlers rendered the Reapers benign.

I'm with the others. Nobody wants to see that shite. I saw more than enough of it during the war, I don't need to see it again.

I'm honestly sorry for not realizing this. I haven't really been thinking straight, and I didn't have the time to realize that it would have been better not to show them in that manner.

I've gotten rid of the offending images, completely removed them from my omnitool aswell.
