Any skin exposure to any particularily damp or unsanitary environment? If you tend to wear armour regularily, the undersuit can carry it if not properly cleaned every use...

Alternatively... Do you frequent a gym, bath house, or communal shower?

It's all very, very common.

Uhh no. No gyms or bath house visits here.

I guess my armor could be doing it. But I wear that thing once a week at the most

After a quick search I've found that he Public Medical Database of Palaven. officially lists 3463568 pathogens from a number of Hierarchy and Non-Hierarchy worlds with at least some turian population that have this kind of flaking as either the single or among a number of other symptoms. Long term effects range from mild two-day-long discomfort caused by this flaking to... well. Death.

You have to be more specific. I suggest you contact any local health service that might be available. If not well.. describe the worlds you visited recently. Or your living conditions. I am no medical specialist.... yeah.

EDIT: You spoke of your armor. Maybe you can share its composition? Place of origin at least?

An old human saying says "Oh no not I, I will survive
For as long as I know how to love, I know I'll stay alive!"

Very wise those humans were.<3

Dude. There's a fucking place that sells liquor right next to the nearest medical center here. I'm not going to that thing.

It's standard issue!

Flash of Light
Seeking medical aid from trained professionals is best course of action.

If it can dissuade your concerns, inquire your surroundings for opinions on quality of service nearby practitioners offer. Declining treatment in favor of personal comfort is ultimately detrimental if symptoms and ailment worsen as a result.

Hmm... You haven't been in contact with any of [these] levo plants, have you? I'm not a specialist in this sort of thing, but nearly all the cases of dermatitis similar to what you're describing that I've seen on turians have come from skin contact with those things. Most plants are relatively harmless, even to opposite chiralities (unless ingested, of course), but the chemicals that these produce can cause flaking and the like. I hear some of them, like the Thessian Sungird (looks like [this], are popular house-plants even in the Terminus, so make sure your neighbours don't have anything like that around.

Other than that, since the resident dextro doctor just went home for the night, all I can say is the generic stuff - ensure your hygiene's up to snuff, since that where any fungal infections tend to come from (pay particular attention to where it's warm and sweaty - like the bits just under and between the plates - 'cos that's perfect conditions for most any sort of microbial life), consider getting yourself tested for allergies, and for the love of God, find a doctor you can go to. If it is an infection, it sounds topical at the moment, which should be easily cleared up once a doctor works out what it is. If it goes systemic, you'll have a lot more problems.

If you really don't want to see a doctor (I know it can be hard to find suitable places out in the Terminus), you might be able to find a private lab willing to run tests on skin flakes, any discharge, etc. somewhere out there... But I wouldn't recommend it. Far better to grab a taxi and travel out to one of the better districts if the nearby doctors are so awful. As long as you're not out in the Abyss, there's bound to be someone competent on-planet / -station.

Hurt on Omega? Not gonna stab us before, during or after your treatment? Head to the [Shepard Memorial Hospital] - the one on Lathos Arcology, before any of you get smart.

Fiiiiiiine I'll go to a doctor. But If I get mugged and then murdered (because I doubt any salarians dressed like a superhero are going to save me) on the way over there though. I am literally going to haunt each and every single one of you who post on this site.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be terrified by your spectral presence. I'd be annoyed because you'd probably go on about how we killed you or something and how your carapace itches for eternity now.

Watch as it turns out it's because you don't clean yourself regularly. Seriously. I swear you turians are built in a way that lets all sorts of sickly globs of filth fester on your person when you stop washing.

That's an uneducated assumption on my part though, really. I'm not saying that as though all turians are like that, I swear. Turians are cool.

To be honest, I wouldnn't be surprised if it was the water causing this. I don't think water is supposed to be a rusty orange color but everything else here is a bright, obnoxious red so who knows! But I sure as hell don't like bathing in it!

Holy shit.

Did you know that a halfway decent water filtration system doesn't cost much?

And after you answer that question, did you know that I'm a damned plumber, and that I can tell you that the water coming out of your pipe should never be that color?

Oh wow what kind of esteemed plumbing school did you go to figure that out that my water is the wrong color?

I have good news and bad news.

The bad news: you have scale-itch.

The good news: I have it on sound authority from a Madinka witch-doctor that simple fornication with a virgin varren will clear you of your infirmity.

Good hunting!

I hate you.

Anyway, I spent the better part of an entire Palaven day in a medical center next to the batarian with the worst tattoo infection I've ever seen and a human whose hair was falling out.

It was gross.

Doc gave his diagnosis, gave me some cream, and said it would clear up in... a few months ugh.

Great Spirits you guys, do you have any idea 1. how hard it is to find a good doctor on Omega; 2. Who doesn't have an exclusive contract signed with some one who has way more guns and friends than you do; 3. And then manage to survive the trip there and back on top of it?

Mazel tea will stop the itching, but your hide will feel numb all over, and it won't address the root cause of the itch.
