Jeral the Improbable Here I am. Just being awesome.
Hey, it's conspiracy girl! I owe you for that chat we had before the Reapers showed up... it might just have saved my life.

But as far as defunding the STG goes...

Seriously, I might not exactly be a fan of where the STG went in the past year, but the salarians are doing all the can to help put this galaxy back together. The STG, like or not, is pretty much dead on with salarian values. Asking to defund them is pretty much like asking us to stop living such short lives... its part of who we are.

The STG was almost the only salarian military that took action against the reapers, shouldn't those protests be directed to their corrupt political caste instead?

Slaves4Us is here to help you! Contact us with your need, and we will fulfill them in no time!
We have Asari, Turian, Salarians, Batarians, Humans, Elcors, Krogans, Volus, Vorcha and for a special price even rare Raloi stock!

And I was right the last time, wasn't I?

While the governments, including the STG, I might add, are right most of the time.

Because, in the vast majority of circumstances, insane conspiracy theories do not turn out to be truth.

Signed all three. This galaxy's on for some serious reforms. Might as well contribute to it all a bit <3

An old human saying says "Oh no not I, I will survive
For as long as I know how to love, I know I'll stay alive!"

Very wise those humans were.<3

It's my personal opinion that you should actually get out there and volunteer to help out instead of signing silly petitions, seriously, and the STG thing? Laughable and idiotic. The salarian military has the most impressive technology in the galaxy, it'd be better to improve funding to them, after all they are providing relief to aren't they?

I missed you all SO much.

No problem. :) And while I certainly don't agree with you (at least get them reigned in and not experimenting on sentient species), it's cool if you have a reason for not signing other than "ha-ha, involvement is futile"

While the governments, including the STG, I might add, are right most of the time.

They may have been wrong about the Reaper Invasion, the Genophage, and the Geth, but they were right on about municipal taxes ten years in a row!

I will totally come to hear them sing. But mostly because I want to fire that trophy Hornet. ...Do you think I'll ever be able to rope Raelon into coming to a protest, I think I've found him a dude.

False equivalence.

And the genophage was hardly the 'wrong' thing to do.

Philosophically: One might hardly say it was the right thing either.

Dismissively: regardless, it is a nonissue now, with its removal. Short of an unwanted war, it will not become a matter of policy.

I'm not really sure how false equivalence applies, as it's clear I was being really, really sarcastic. But what, exactly, did they get right that would outweigh missing the reaper invasion?

And the genophage was hardly the 'wrong' thing to do.
I'll admit that deploying it was, you know, debatable. Using a charitable effort to do so and leaving it in place for so long? Not so much.

Maybe the one thousand years of peace that preceded it?

I'm pretty sure all of those are, you know, debatable.

Fuck, I can understand why we needed to give them a cure during the war, but now, anyone who thinks krogan expansionism won't become an interstellar issue in the future is willingly suspending their disbelief.

I would argue that the last 1000 years were not that great, or at least not stable enough to fill me with confidence.

The Krogan were never happy.

It wasn't really peaceful for the Batarians.

For the Geth and the Quarians, no, not 1000 years of peace. Then they throw gas on the fire with the AI policy and like, leave the quarians to die.

Kind of sucked for us, too, but that was our own fault...on the other hand, not like the council was helping either, a so I'll leave it on the list.

You have the First Contact War, which could have exploded.

And then they missed the Reaper invasion.

And yet none of those had to do with the genophage whatsoever, and the krogan would have been fine if they took five minutes to realize that they hadn't been neutered. Their extinction was a self-fulfilling prophecy.

As it stands, there was 1000 years during which we could at least know that the krogan weren't going to destroy us all in a mad expansion movement propagated by an lack of proper birth control. That the universe schemed to give us other problems is hardly our fault.

They're not all connected to the Geth either. Are people trying to misinterpret me today? I wasn't arguing that those things were 100% linked to the genophage, I'm just arguing that the government has sucked. No, I do not trust it. I do not think it was adequate.
